Japanese Grammar: ちゃう しまう

This is not a translation exercise. This is the Instantaneous Composition Exercise. As if a reflexive action, try to create an equivalent Japanese sentence shortly after reading an English script. Try not to think for more than three seconds.

(Unintentionally) (I) have forgotten the homework.
宿しゅく題だいを忘わすれてしまいました。
(Unintentionally) (I) have broken the car.
車くるまを壊こわしてしまいました。
(Regretfully) (I) have built a strange house.
変へんな家いえを建たててしまいました。
(Regretfully) (I) have eaten cake.
ケーキを食たべてしまいました。
(Regretfully) (I) have drunk alcohol.
お酒さけを飲のんでしまいました。
(Unintentionally) (I) have laughed.
笑わらってしまいました。
(Unintentionally) (I) have cried.
泣ないてしまいました。
(Unintentionally) (I) have made a mistake.
間ま違ちがえてしまいました。
(Regretfully) (I) have slept.
寝ねてしまいました。
(Regretfully) (I) have broken the glass.
グラスを割わってしまいました。 

Note

ちゃう has the same meaning as しまう, but ちゃう sounds more casual than しまう. Here, we’re following the formal expression.
