その時、大きな音が聞こえました。巨人が帰ってきたのです。女の人は急いでジャックを部屋の中に隠しました。「ここに隠れて！見つかると巨人に食べられるよ。」巨人はお城の中に入ると、言いました。「今日は疲れたから、すぐに寝よう。」巨人はお金を机に置いて、自分の部屋に行きました。ジャックは巨人が寝たのを見ると、隠れるのを止めました。そして、机の上のお金を取って逃げました。お城から豆の木まで走り、豆の木をすべって家に帰りました。それからジャックとお母さんはそのお金で生活しました。しかし、しばらくすると、そのお金をすべて使ってしまいました。だから、ジャックはもういちど、豆の木を登ることにしました。
English Translation
At the time, a big sound was heard. The giant was back. The woman hid Jack in a room in a hurry. “Hide here! If you are found, you will be eaten by the giant.” When the giant entered the castle, he said, “I'm tired today, so I'm going to bed right away.” The giant put his money on a desk and went to his room. When Jack saw that the giant went to bed, he stopped hiding himself. And, he took the money on the desk and ran away. He ran from the castle to the beanstalk and slid down the beanstalk and went home. Then, Jack and his mother lived on the money. But, after a while, they used up all the money. So, Jack decided to climb the beanstalk once again.
