その日、メロスは眠らずに村へ帰りました。村に着いたのは、次の日の午前でした。もう村の人は外で仕事を始めていました。メロスの妹も仕事をしていました。妹は疲れているメロスを見て驚きました。メロスは言いました。「大丈夫だ。ところで、街にまだ用事がある。またすぐに街へ戻らなければならない。明日、お前の結婚式をしよう。きれいな服も買ってきた。さあ、村の人に明日結婚式をすると知らせに行きなさい。」妹はとても喜びました。メロスは家に帰り、結婚式の用意をしました。メロスはベッドに倒れて眠ってしまいました。
English Translation
On that day, Melos went back to the village without sleeping. When he arrived at the village it was the next morning. People in the village had already started working outside. Melos’ younger sister was also working. She was surprised by seeing the tired Melos. Melos said, “All right. By the way, I still have things to do in town. I have to be back in town soon. Tomorrow, let’s hold your wedding. I bought beautiful clothes. Now, go let people in the village know that we’re going to hold your wedding tomorrow. ” She was very glad. Melos went home and prepare the wedding. Melos fell down on the bed and went to sleep.
