Japanese Grammar Exercise: Using "Adjective + する

Adjective + Suru

Before starting the exercise for using "adjective + する", please clarify any doubts you may have about the grammatical rules by referring to your grammar guidebook or dictionary. The Instantaneous Composition Method requires you to compose sentences with the target sentence pattern(s) over and over in order to use them almost effortlessly. You should already have the necessary knowledge.

Instantaneous Composition Exercise for Using "Adjective + する"

This is not a translation exercise. This is the Instantaneous Composition Exercise. As if a reflexive action, try to create an equivalent Japanese sentence shortly after reading an English script. Try not to think for more than three seconds.

(I) made (my) room clean.
部屋へやをきれいにしました。
(I) regarded the present as important. (lit. I made the present important.)
プレゼントを大切たいせつにしました。
(I) made the soup sweet.
スープをあまくしました。
(I) made the test difficult.
テストをむずかしくしました。
Please be quiet. (lit. please make it quiet.)
しずかにしてください。 
Please make (it) warm.
あたたかくしてください。
Please make (yourself) serious.
真面目まじめにしてください。
Please make (yourself) comfortable.
らくにしてください。
Let’s make the atmosphere better.
ふん囲気いきをよくしましょう。
As for the color, please make it (the one you) like.
いろきにしてください。
